Bernhard and Claire were once what one calls a "dream couple". Until Claire caught her godly husband on an affair and left him without further ado. More than 20 years have passed since then, but the two are still like fire and water. There are other reasons for this, however, because while the major entrepreneur Bernhard is developing ultra-modern and not exactly environmentally friendly aircraft, Claire is running a small nursery and is very successful as an environmental activist. But now her daughter Sophie, who works as an engineer in her father's company, wants to marry her colleague Ingo. The two workaholics seem to have a common job in particular. In this situation, parents have little choice but to sit down at the table to plan their wedding. This occasion comes in handy for Bernhard: He needs Claire's support to win an Indian industrialist for an important project for his troubled company.

First young lawyer Anna loses a shoe heel - then an important client to her oily colleague. "Why does everything always go wrong?", she complains to chat partner Jan. At home, the lonely soul also has to listen to the loud bedtime stories of her perky flatmate Sarah. But eventually Anna finds happiness too, because Jan's handsome boyfriend Kai turns the wheel of fate. Two crash pilots from BravoAir have to fight crime with their dim-witted mechanic, the beautiful daughter of a beaten-up police inspector, and the mechanic's 15-year-old godson. Not only are the three of them and the little one clumsy, but so are the gangsters and the police.
